There's still some humour left in Tidal amongst all their ailing gronks.
08630 Bob Brown was repaired today but has outstanding work to be completed. Evidentally 08605 arrived with flat batteries and 08752 Lenny is still working.
I just hope that I'm not too late for the picture of 08605 on Saturday.

Have you seen Tidal Sidings, its like a battlefield.
From my memory 08495 was the first new remote to leave Toytown, went to Mossend and has returned, 08706 went to Westbury and has since returned, 08802 came to Tidal and that returned, 08735 seems to spend most of its time in Eastleigh Depot and 08605...
Re: Tidal Update
willie bumsen
These pilots are worked VERY hard 24/7
The main problem with reliability is that TOTON turn out crap, main line locos and shunters.
08630 was dragged by a 66 from Margam it was NOT going to Canton,it lasted 3 days before it developed a generator fault,ie a snapped Aux drive belt.O8605 failed on the lowloader with flat batteries, then failed again with a transfer pump contactor fault.
08921 was sent back to Toton because it was not fit for purpose and non standard. It will be converted to standard equipment.
08752 had problems on delivery,it leaked oil all over the lowloader.
You guys on here need to get your facts right before posting.

Watch out for the EWS mole. Looks like he's struck again on another forum.
It's a shame he doesn't join our forum with this detail.
Re: Tidal Update
Looks like Mr Bumsen is a DBS/ ews manager. He seem to know what going on.

I wouldn't think it's an EWS manager as they don't normally know what's happening.

We all have our fun over the Tidal nonsense but the drivers and fitters are truly committed to EWS. I don't like to see postings like this when few of us do know that Tidal can only make the best of equipment supplied to them. All we need now is one member of the Tidal staff to take exception to this posting and it could affect my access as a trespasser.
Re: Tidal Update
37669 will not have any problem because tidal staff know that he gives DBS and its staff support and is well thought of by staff and managers.
His observations are correct, staff are fully committed to try to provide a good service to customers of DBS despite being short of good equipment that can carry out the task required.

He'd better look out for the snake, I hear its very venomous. If he gets bitten he needs to ask the Firstaider for johnuseasterbrookus serum.
Anyway, more like he's looking for gronk spares to fill up the outside sand stores at Tidal.
Re: Tidal Update
Catman will be running the show in south Wales with the great white looking after Bristol.
Any trouble at Tidal and Catman will be surfing up the M4 to fix it

Thanks Billy. I was well looked after yesterday and came away with a couple of pictures that will go into the same time locked folder as that of Catman straightening out the nose of 408 with ....
It is also good to note that Willie Bumsem has wiped the deck of the Fantasy Gen Forum regarding their outrageous comments towards Tidal staff. However, I was very surprised that a Toton driver jumped to their defence and asked Willie Bumsen if he was another 'know it all spotter'. (must be thinking of me) The comment has now been removed from the forum without an apology.

Hmm, I think I'll ask the Didcot shunter man to request assistance tomorrow night together with a failure at Knuckle Yard and St Blazey, keeping the great white on a trespass problem at Avonmouth
I havn't heard from Catman for some weeks since he said he could save EWS £1/4 million per annum by dozing the management accomodation at ADJ with a D4.
Re: Tidal Update
Been told that the shunter website has been taking a pot shot at Mr Bumsen again.
I guess he has hit a raw nerve with those people
Perhaps they should invite Mr Baray to join them so they can get the information they require and not just post on guess work from people full of the smelly stuff.
Billy.

I read the pot shot. It's not a good idea to post to that forum as the owner is quite happy to allow your posts to be reposted even if you specify that they shouldn't be.

I had an email overnight from a Tidal driver that helps me with the Tidal page and he saw the Willie Bumsen postings and said he was glad he put the record straight.
I hope that the Toton driver doesn't stir things up.
I'm a bit hesitant to do anymore gronk updates on my website with all this smelly stuff flying around in case my Tidal gronk page is perceived to be an embarrasement to EWS.

Bad news.
B07 still not left the Knuckle Yard at 2100hrs, three hours late. Presume Catman is bringing south wales to a grinding halt.
Re: Tidal Update
Been told that catman had a very busy shift working on 11 locos and wagons in the south Wales area..The class 60 will be doing one trip with fingers crossed because of its 7 cylinder engine. The tanks were delayed due to smashed windscreens on both sheds. Then they developed another fault when they were mated
The Gronks are ok for now.

Re: Tidal Update

08605 is on standby to work the train if needed and in remote. It will be banked by the Orb shunter

If I remember correctly there is only one EWS man that can drive and maintain the Orb shunter?
Did Catman get the P45 after bringing west wales to a standstill last night.
Maybe Willie Bumsen can provide more detail about 74's one journey to Margam tonight. I bet a mistake has been made with that as well, maybe it should read a rolling one journey.
A guy called Royal Scot in the Ketton thread was looking for information from Wille Bumson about RMS Locotek shunter at Ketton and was disappointed with his quick exit.
Re: Tidal Update
I have heard that all class 60's will be running on 7 cylinders as a mod to save fuel, they will also run on five motors to save on wear and tear.
If successfull all the fleet will have its fuel injuction pumps isolated to save fuel.
Freightliner are already trying this out by getting the class 70's towed around the country,so there will be no wear on their power units.
Margam depot may reopen,DBS are building a wind farm to power the depot.Along with inflatable buildings for field maintenance.
Things are looking up for rail freight in the UK.
