57315 passed Wooferton 1045 in presume Ecs to Cf after wag was caped at Crewe 120 late. Ya AJ

This was an entry posted today.

Is Wooferton in reality Wolverton?
ECS = Empty coaching stock, I think
Cf = Might be Carnforth, for which the correct abbreviation is CFN
wag = Wagon or Female attachment to footballer?
Caped = Cancelled, I think.

Translator would be appreciated.

Woofferton is near Ludlow, empty stock to Cardiff. Welsh Assembly Government - shortened to wag. Should return to Holyhead from Cardiff this afternoon if running to schedule.

As you appear to be unaware of some of the basics, I think this site may be of help.

As per such a lot of abbriviation is used in messages this days, But that orginal message was and would be confusing to people who dont know the abbriviations, eg WAG meaning Welsh Assembley Government , which is why I use full names and places of observation when posting and the nearest town or city as well
