Chaddesden to Portbury Coal Workings...

Can anyone advise the times / h'codes of the GBRf Chaddesden to Portbury coal workings..

There is a 4V13 about midday ish off Chad and into Portbury via Lickey about 4pm , this then returns as 6M13 via Swindon (21:00) & Oxford (21:45) from Portbury about 7pm.
Overnight there is a 4V69 which goes via Lickey or Swindon and gets to Portbury about 2:30am , returning as 6M18 off Portbury at 5am and via Swindon (07:00 - 07:45) & Oxford (08:30).

They currently vary both the path used and the frequency , although in recent weeks it has been mainly 4V13 / 6M13 running.

Hope this is of some use , I can probably get more detailed timings but will have to ask relevant persons , if that is what you would require.

It was specifically to capture 66705 on the working which I did last Monday at water orton on the return working (6M18).

It was a lucky / good guess to go that day although I could have stayed at Worcester

I will always look out for the postings of these workings as it seems to run with GBRf locos which I'm short of photos of, especially the lower end one's...

These are Fastline workings, GBRF don't have any coal workings in the area (at the moment). Fastline often hire in GBRf loco's as well DRS loco's these do often turn up on these workings. Offically however they are Fastline workings so won't always be GBRf loco's.

Yes, maybe misled you, but we know they are Fastline workings but they are most often hauled by a GBRf loco to support the Fastline fleet...
