The classic Briton Ferry shot. Always a nice place to finish off the day as other eastbound pictures are shooting into the sun.

A nice location for the picture marred by a bulldozer doing some construction work alongside the bunker where the picture was taken. The picture is a little too head on for my liking.

Re: Martin Bray, Swansea, UK
really crisp and the editing works well with the mix of covered hoods adds interest too real shame about the traction cant you airbrush that out and replace with a tug

Thanks Wetbag. It hasn't come out too bad has it.
I'm trying some new ideas on the presentation with CS4, with a combination of levels / curves, vibrance, shadows and highlights, saturation and generous unmasked sharpening. I believe this combination gives more of an impact and pictures from earlier on during the year seemed to be bland and depressing, in comparison. As you say, just need a 60 at the front to finish the picture off.

Empty MEA's being collected from Onllwyn Washery off the Guan-Cae-Gurwen train for a Cwmbargoed to Barry coal train tomorrow. 08523 is in the background and is used to shunt the daily MEA's from Guan-Cae-Gurwen for unloading. A nice picture to set the weekend off.

A nice little spot between Onllwyn Washery and Neath, where the former Blaenant Colliery was sited, which is now the Cefn Coed Museum.
The veg will be managed before the next picture.

A cracking setting for the B13 at Pwll, only minutes after the sun rose above the hills.
Parp, parp as the train passes the drivers parents house, parp, parp as the train passes Pembrey Noshed veg's house and a horn serenade for the photographers on the bank. Hope the driver likes his picture. Top man.

First picture from Glasfryn Sand Dunes this year. Get up there while you can as the veg grows to Fforestfach Veg's height. This was also probably the clearest day as well, being able to see the Gower coastline.
