DARKSIDE

As with much of the WCML most services are “boxes” on a variety of flats.
The former “enterprise” trains between Wembley and Daventry
produce foreign registered cargowaggons whilst the 6X77 service is usually formed
of cartics off the 6x48 service from Dagenham with additional bits and pieces
The TO cement has dedicated wagons in the 117xx series. The Bletchley services
conveys 4 wheel RMC tanks and 6O63 conveys foreign registered china clay tanks.
The only “aggregate” workings are 7V53 and is 6M57 which uses a number
of different wagons from the Acton pool

PASSENGER

There are a plethora of trains on the southern WCML in the hands of 390s
the occasional voyager and 350/321 units. On a Friday there is also a class 90 hauled
service to Preston which passes at 18:56, the ecs usually passes just after 1pm. There
is also now a 90 diagram to Birmingham

There is also regular class 313 services to Watford junction and a regular bakerloo
underground service to willesden – the west end and the elephant

FACILITIES

The station has a small café on the platform and is very close to Harrow town
centre with numerous pubs/cafes snack bars etc nearby
