first workings? Empty first workings?

It appears that the first workings for these ugly beasts with F.L.H.H. could be coal traffic from Portbury to Rugeley P.S.whcih may well be routed via Worcester and Stourbridge instead of the current route via the Marches and this change could occur at the end of next month.

The "booked" motive power should be the new class 70 locomotives, two of which are due to arrive in newport shortly, with more to follow in December.

matters could of course change

Not all bad though as I expect a 60 will appear on these, after all the Humber - Kingsbury's seems to be a pretty big train Very Happy
