Oakleigh Sidings, Northwich, where?

In between Cans at Acton Bridge I'm hoping for a picture of the Tunstead train. Is Oakleigh Sidings on the triangle at Widdington west of Northwich? Ta.

Sidings are beyond N end of triangle (Winnington, not Widdington). Get there well before booked time - it sometimes runs early.

Thanks Bevan. I have asked Wetbag if he can provide me with some timings so I can drive over from Acton Bridge. The pictures I have seen look pretty uninspiring of Oakleigh Sidings, but there looks to be a footbridge over the line where the run round loop is, which looks as though it can be accessed from the park.

I'll go to Oakleigh after S43. I'm gonna try the footbridge across the run round loop. Park the car up in Verdin Park carpark.

Oakleigh sidings are visible from this bridge here

All sidings to the South of the bridge have been lifted.

Most of the sidings to the North are still there but it's not a great shot.

Have a look here for some lineside locations.(they're all within 10 miles of Northwich)

BTW 6H03 is often through Plumley between 08:55 and 09:20

It is an odd working the Tunstead to Oakleigh nowadays ... it can run stupidly early .. some cases it doesnt run at all!! best place would be somewhere between Lostock and Plumley
