Hi all we will be out & about on the SOUTH Wales main line on tThursday 22/7/10 if anyone else about pop bye & say hi should be somewhere between coedkernow 7 stj with a trip to tidal for king spuds gronks lol

Would liked to have joined you but I got IAN WRIGHT to entertain till Friday. I hope Tidal staff look after you. The gronks will be on the move at 0930, 1230, 1530.....

Please don't quote me on this!!!The Tidal Manager prefers enthusiasts to keep a low profile during the week as he is frequently visited by the Safety and Operations Managers as well as BTP who have stepped up their patrols in Tidal Sidings due to the local gypos climbing in the MBA's and stealing scrap. The drivers are generally very enthusiastic so long as management are not about. If you can recognise any of the drivers tomorrow that are in Rogue's Gallery you're on a winner as its an intro to asking them what's happening. Drive up into Tidal offices and at least one gronk should be stabled at the far side against the fence. If one or both of the others are not there, they'll be in Celsa or shunting Tidal. For the only pictures other than at the offices, go onto Rover Way and stand at the low metal fence just before where all the sound proof sheeting has gone up. That is basically Splott Junction and all movements either to the scrap bays or the Rod Mill pass there. If you hit any problems email me through RGSW and I'll try and help you. I'm not sure who's working at Tidal tomorrow but if you see someone please speak to them and let them know who you are. Our Billy Basher / Willie Bumsen is still off sick otherwise I may have been able to get him to meet you there.
