STILL BROKEN?
70001 and 70003 are booked for MIDLAND ROAD today (30/12) with 70001 having cab heating and air con faults and 70003 with engine shutdown.
70001 has worked from Ipswich to Lawley St during the night and is now booked a DIT move but no details yet
70003 is still at Basford and hasn’t moved but will obviously be a DIT move also no times stated as yet
woops

Re: STILL BROKEN?
It's times like this, that make me proud to be a true british Ruston / Napier engineer.
We may not have been good at managing our businesses but we designed and manufactured locomotives that were built to last.
Twenty years have passed since Class 60's entered service with their magnitude of problems and nothing has changed, except the locomotives have become uglier, uglier than the Metro Vicks.
EWS has used and abused british traction, but they won't with Class 66's and if they ban Easystart, EWS will be brought to its knees.
LOL.

Half the fleet stopped awaiting a A xam's. Hmm, I wonder what the root / underlying reason for the stoppage was?
