With the current lists showing mostly 10 -12 of these Brush loco's in service, whilst the rest are either stored or in a deplorable state at Toton (60098, 081 etc etc). Is there any future for the Class 60's?

I know there was a major refurb programme announced by DB but because of the recession this has been shelved. Of course there have been rumours flying around - too many to list here Smile

I think in the short terms a smal fleet will be retained especially if dbs keep winning traffic Shocked however I would have thought the remaining tractors in dbs hands are soon for chop Mad
